Welcome to Joyous Unions! I am Reverend Matthew S. Bartky, an Ordained Minister of the Universal Life Church. I am able, and happy to legally officiate Weddings and Civil Unions in the state of New Jersey, performing Non-denominational, Non-religious, and Spiritual ceremonies, as well as Wiccan rites, and Handfastings.

I believe in the equality of all, regardless of Race, Religion, Gender, Creed, or Orientation. I believe that the union of two people is sacred. Not because a religious entity says so, not because the government makes it legal. I believe that the union of those two people is made sacred by the love they share with each other. Love is fluid, something that flows from the couple to all their family and their friends, and all those whose lives they touch. That love not only makes a whole new world and better life for the two who have been joined, but also makes the whole world a little better.

To have the honor to preside over the joining of two people who truly love each other is in itself a wonderful feeling... and to have a part in bringing those two together and sharing their love with the world is a truly noble and enlightening experience.

I'm here to help you. My goal is to help you design one of the most memorable and cherished moments in your life. I will write the script and perform your ceremony, submit your marriage license to the municipal clerk, and leave you free to enjoy your honeymoon. There is no detail too small. After all, this will be "your day, done your way."

Welcome! I am Reverend Jack Bartky, an Ordained Minister of the Universal Life Church. I have been very happily married for the last 10 years, and am blessed with three beautiful children. I am lucky enough to have found love, and I know that when it is time for two people in love to be joined in matrimony, it should be a meaningful, and personal experience. That is why I can provide you with the ceremony that's right for you. Every couple has different needs for what will be the most important day of their lives, and I will work with you to ensure that those needs are exceeded.

Unlike most members of the clergy, I believe that what is right for an individual can not be dictated by doctrine, but only by that individual. As a Minister of the Universal Life Church, I serve people of all ethnic and religious backgrounds, and will strive to provide you with the most meaningful, fulfilling and memorable day of your life!
